ccarlisleCorey brings vision to couples as they navigate the difficult and messy ordeals of life. He offers deep reflection and a unique integration of the spiritual, the relational, and the sexual as a calm and steady guide for couples. Corey believes our life’s circumstances and relationships are often invitations into God’s Larger Story, and it is his joy to help individuals discover their role in this story. He seeks to cultivate an awareness of the Sacred in everyday life, including the profound intimacy of marriage and the mysterious gift of our sexuality.

Being called into the ministry at an early age, Corey has been speaking into the lives of individuals and couples for over 15 years. It is his passion and mission to help others discover the true, the good, and the beautiful in life.

Corey is an ordained minister, a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), and a certified sex therapist (CST). He holds the Master of Divinity and the Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy from Amridge University. His dissertation explored “Sacred Sexuality for Black Americans,” and he continues to study in the area of spiritual-sexuality. Corey’s undergraduate studies were completed at Covenant College, receiving the Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.

Corey has spoken at national AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors), AMFM (Association of Marriage and Family Ministries), and CAPS (Christian Association for Psychological Studies) conferences, as well as several other local workshops and seminars.
