Life for all human beings, couples, and families have many challenges, disappointments, losses, and confusion. These valleys and deserts can leave us wondering “how did I get here?” “Will this ever get better?” “What isnext for me and my partner?”. In these times of frustration, exhaustion and confusion hope almost seems out of reach. However, hope and a new story can come alive through the therapy process. Let me be your partner, encourager and aide in this process. This, I deeply believe, is my life’s mission and God’s plan to work through me to serve others.
In my therapeutic experience so far I have had a rich experience of finding healing for couples who arerebuilding their marriage after infidelity, couples seeking to reignite their love and passion for one another, teens and young adults feeling consumed by anxiety and depression, families seeking support with an incarcerated parent, and families wishing to rebuild and redefine their relationships with one another. If any of these resonate with you, let’s meet to discover what your next steps are for healing and a new chapter.
In my therapeutic work, I use an integrative, solution-focused approach that helps individuals and families increase self-awareness and improve relationships. I am certified in PREPARE—ENRICH to help couples build strong foundations for partnership and create healthy relationships. I have an intense passion for working with couples, families, teens, young adults, PTSD, and sexual intimacy.
In my undergraduate career I was grateful to attend the beautiful University of North Georgia in Dahlonega. In my time there, I further explored my passion for helping others and the science of humanity which led me to receive my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. In my time in undergrad, I became extremely convicted and excited about my calling as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Therefore, I went eagerly into the Masters of Family Therapy program at Mercer University School of Medicine.
I have lived my entire life in Atlanta, and love being close to the city as well as close to nature. I love thetherapeutic peace and serenity that nature can provide through going on a walk, hiking, kayaking, or just laying out in the sun. I am extremely blessed for the life I have and very grateful that I get to be an integral part of the healing journeys of many couples, families, and individuals.
