Are you in need of help? We all are at some point in our lives. My personal experience in therapy was extremely positive and helpful in my own life and I believe I can provide a warm and safe place for you to advance your life.
The therapeutic relationship is extremely important and I would like to get to know you, all of you, without judgment. I am an excellent encourager and love inspiring and building up women, helping them to see their value and God’s unconditional love for them. I am also passionate about working with couples, whether starting your marriage off right in premarital therapy or when you feel your marriage is falling apart. I work with individuals and couples dealing with a variety of issues such as abuse, addictions, anger, anxiety, depression, marital issues, self-esteem, sexual concerns, and trauma.
I received my undergraduate degree from Georgia College & State University; followed by my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Christian Sex Therapy from Richmont Graduate University. Shortly after, my husband and I moved to California for him to attend seminary. While there, I was fortunate enough to counsel under Clifford and Joyce Penner, pioneers in the field of Christian Sex Therapy. I also had the opportunity to work at the Los Angeles Dream Center with sex trafficking victims as well as those in the drug, alcohol, and life recovery program. These unique opportunities only allow me to better serve you more skillfully and with a bigger heart.
I am blessed to be married to an amazing partner in life for 13 years and counting. The Lord has blessed us with 2 precious, energetic little redheaded girls. My husband is a pastor and we are enjoying the process of planting a new church together. I love to spend time with my family and friends more than anything. I enjoy shopping, decorating, creating, baking (ok, mostly just eating sweets), learning new things, dancing, and especially traveling.
I really enjoy making my dreams and goals reality and I am always honored when God allows me to be a part of your journey and dreams too.
