Availability
Our counselors work to be available at times that fit your schedule. While not every counselor is as flexible in their schedule as others, someone is typically available after work and on weekends.
Phone calls are typically answered 9:00a-2:00p Monday-Friday.
Sessions are typically scheduled on the hour. While a standard session is 45-50 minutes long, we often schedule block sessions (more than one in a row) to address specific needs or for those who are traveling long distances.

Counseling Hours
Monday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
Tuesday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
Wednesday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Thursday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Cost
It is important to us that cost not be a reason people don’t come to counseling. As such, we have a wide variety of training and experience allowing for a wide spectrum of costs.
Therapy interns are $50.00 per session, but can be flexible with their rates for those who cannot afford the standard fee. From there, fees are depend upon the training, specializations, licenses/certifications, etc. We try to keep our fees slightly less than the typical rate for similar training and experience. Feel free to talk with your counselor if cost is becoming a limiting factor in your counseling.
Insurance
Building Intimate Marriages does not accept direct payment from insurance companies to cover the cost of counseling. Clients are expected to pay the counseling fee in full for each session. Insurance companies reimburse many of our clients for part of their counseling costs when meeting with a fully licensed counselor at out of network benefit rates. We provide a receipt designed to assist you with this process. Note this requires a diagnosis of some psychiatric disorder to be listed on your receipt. Please discusss this with us and your insurance company.
