Call or email our Client Care Coordinator to be matched with a counselor based on availability and area of concern. It may be a good idea to first know what days and times of the week you will consistently be able to attend counseling.
Complete your online profile (includes basic info and informed consent). This should take about 10 minutes and should be completed before your first session to give your counselor background information.
On the day of your appointment, plan to arrive 15 minutes before your session. If this is an in-person session, we’ll have coffee and cold beverages ready for you in our waiting area. Take a seat, and your counselor will come out to greet you at your appointment time.
Whether it’s online or in-person, your first session is a chance to meet your counselor and tell your story. You will get feedback on next steps (specific to your needs and your counselor’s process style). Your counselor will then schedule a next session with you or give you time to think about if you are ready to begin counseling.
Feel free to request a specific counselor or ask to be matched via our Client Care Coordinator.
